Chuckanut 50K ~ Ready or not here I come!

Larch Mt.

My training w/ Karl Meltzer has been so good for me! I'm stretching my noodle & running my butt off!

As everyone begins to taper.....I am doing a mini taper. My miles have only been pulled back a little and intensity slowed, so I am excited to get out there and try to test this body & mind.

I have been having some psoas issues ~ yoga, yoga, yoga! Lululemon Hip Series is amazing for this runner! I am so ready to run Chuckanut 50k. I'm working on the mental aspect of things and remembering to run "my own" race. I always seem to go out too fast. Although, this year I will start a little faster than normal, it still will be a slower start for me (if that makes sense). My whole goal is to run strong the whole way & save some gas in the tank for the last 11 miles! I'm hoping to have some major energy for the last 6 to really stretch those legs and move ground.

My goal is a sub-6 ~ there I said it out loud! A group of friends & Gary too are headed to Washington for Chuckanut on Sat.

I'm hoping I have some fun posting to do on the return of the trip!

You got that right Olga. The dark horse, Cheri. However, you don't get to be the dark horse for to long. Keep it up Cheri. You're getting stronger and faster by the week. Fun to be tagging along with your energy.
