What's my reason for running.....because I can! I always try to "remember", when my body didn't and would not move. When I was in continual pain and then remember how gracious God was to free me from that pain. The joy I have when I run is undescribable. Other runners would understand the freedom, joy and sheer delight in being able to run.
My 1st 10K went well - 50:17 (8:05 mile). My shins are bothering me, so I feel I could have done better. We had a great time as a family. Sophia did her 1st race and Hannah & Benjamin completed their 2nd race. The kids ran 1/2mile. Gary is still recovering from the flu bug so he just hung out.

Once again we scored in the prize department.....Ben won a basket of pansies. Hannah won some socks from Lululemon.
We look forward to next years Reason to Run 2010.
