Winter Wonderland

This is the most snow I've seen in McMinnville since we've lived here for 5 years! We walked at 10pm last night, it was silently beautiful and bright. The kids and the dog ran and ran. I am wanting to run and run but, I have kept my running 5 miles per day. My injury is getting better but cabin fever is hard. Me and my treadmill aren't speaking.lol. We will talk tomorrow...desperate times call for desperate measures.

Christmas Camp starts on Christmas! 100 mile week! first ever. It's just preping me for PCT 50. I am hoping to run R2R2R this summer with a group! I am so excited!!!!!

Oh the pain we weave!

I am trying to recover from some kind of calf strain...my running has been slowed down. I have been taking that break your suppose to take at end of each season. I usually never take. Well for running for 1.5 years this is my first real injury. I guessing it was caused by a few reasons. Not stretch or drinking enough water and i'm sure other things. So now I am building back up again and feeling happy again. There is nothing like splashing through the mud on Wildwood trail with my friend Trisha! She was patient with me last Thursday and putted around with me on Wildwood/Maple Trail. I hope to be fully recovered by this time next week. I wore the heel raises for one 8 mile run.....that was a mistake it caused pain in my achilles, so out they came and i have recovered from that.

My Oldest Weds!

Kassidy does it! She gets married and continues to change my world! And her's too.

John has become a great addition to the family. I hope he feels the same way about us. You see we are NO quiet family! Kassidy was drop dead gorgeous on her wedding day. It was simple and painless and over quickly. John and Kassidy were anxious to begin their life together and get on with the honeymoon.

We were thankful that John's parents opened their home for the wedding. I was a warm and cozy place to have a beautiful and simply wedding.
